About Me

Hi, my name is Gerissa. I am a sophomore at a school in southern California. My family and cousins mean the world to me. No matter what I do, they support me in all my activities and when I see them in the hallways we always make fun of each other, out of love. I know that if I make a big mistake or mess up big time, they'll love me regardless. My friends, I thank you and I am glad that you guys stuck with me throughout the years even if we don't go to the same school or if we live a couple minutes away from each other I'm glad you're there for me, even if I am weird.  I participate in school sports such as track and volleyball. I also associate myself in activities in my youth group, Job's Daughters, and with my Church.  By far, A.P. World History was the main source of my stress and headaches. For me, this was the first class that I struggled keeping up to date with. When it came down to all the worksheets, twenty to thirty paged readings, note cards, charts, and essays; I thought that it was so much work. But now I look back and I'm glad that I took this class, it helped me challenge myself and see what it's like in the real world when teachers don't accept excuses.
